Definitive Audiophile pressings

Yeah hard panned mixes like that are rough to listen to on headphones but on speakers I rather enjoy them a lot.
Remember, they were made for speakers, not headphones. At that time, there was nobody walking around with earbuds and headphone use was pretty low.

Just had a first listen to AP's 45 RPM 2LP Lynyrd Skynyrd - (pronounced.....) and DAMN! I am not a fan of the $55 (and rising) price tag on these reissues, but there's no denying they deliver.
it's really awesome. i just got the 45 of Second Helping today and it's equally as good if not better!

Anyone have and can comment on SQ of this year's remaster of Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die? This is the one I'm curious about:

(My current listening copy is a relatively clean 1971 US repress by Research Craft.)

This thread almost got me to purchase a counting crows album. My mind ain’t right.
Mmmmmm I know same!!!!! 😅🙈😂

Even I thought about it myself because of how incredible the sound quality is on Analogue Productions pressing of their debut album!!!

@Mather - Would you ever pick up the AP pressing of August and Everything After or are you definitely not a Counting Crows fan?

I’m not a Counting Crows fan, and I picked it up. WTF is wrong with me anyways.

No.... no I would not.

But I'd buy it before I bought the Mofi of Train.
