Definitive Audiophile pressings

Yeah, now that I've listened to it a bit, I can understand that! Maybe not even limited to December.
I'm a huge fan of it. By far my favorite christmas album and it does get me in the holiday spirit. I always throw it on when we are decorating and on christmas day when we open presents. I only have about 4 or 5 christmas albums on vinyl because I only spin them a few times a year...otherwise I just stream mostly. I have been listening to Bobby Timmons Holiday Soul this year a lot so may eventually pick that up on vinyl...then I have the Ella AS Christmas pressing, and Nat King Cole's Christmas album. That tides me over haha.

Speaking of Christmas albums, the first track of Merry Ole Soul is sublime. I like the whole album, but I love the deconstruction/reconstruction in that track. And the percussion.
I'll check that one out. Really enjoying Bobby Timmons Holiday Soul if you want another jazzy chrimbo album.

Definitely bought the Mono Trane and Rollins first thing this morning, FOMO is real.

Yeah I'm gonna need these releases to be stagnated. I'm counting on you, global supply chain delays!
Curious how many copies they pressed. Really surprised both albums have been in stock for more than a day based on how quickly most other AP represses sell out

Indeed. Lush Life in already #4 on their top sellers list; they have to be moving a lot of these.

Acoustic Sounds posted the Charlie Brown Christmas AP pressing today...Sealed copy for only.... $600!
Did someone really buy this for $600? Is this why we can't have nice things, cause people will pay this much?

They probably just saw the internet laughing at them and decided to pull it off the marketplace.
so they did their own version of this

I'm with @waruv --wouldn't be shocked if somebody bought this. It's pretty rare and is likely the last time that an AAA reissue of it becomes available. Although with how Chad operates, I wouldn't be shocked if they repress it from the old plates at some point which is why I have resisted paying crazy prices (and also i just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a single album.)
