Definitive Audiophile pressings

Interesting, I felt the guitar was kind of blended in, particularly on Go Your Own Way, where it didn't seem as hot as on an og. And I thought the drums were the star, really crisp and distinct.
For the drums I should have specified the cymbals in particular. But saying cymbals have a "metallic sheen" and claiming that's an effect would make me sound CRAAAAZZY.

Yeah the warps are just all over fucking everything right now, a definite symptom of just trying to press too much too quickly!
A new Allman Brothers Fillmore was warped badly when I got it home a few months back. It's a bummer when this crap happens.

So as the resident Norah shill, The In Groove guy is saying again that the new Norah Jones is All Analog (the main disc) and he listened, compared it to the Kevin Gray AP production - just cut a little less hot (closer to the tapes), and he was impressed. One person but it's sounding legit.

He also said the Pinkerton MoFi was the last time they had rights to press it out so who knows if that's valid.

While we're on the topic, anyone know how that recent Tusk reissue is quality wise? Or whats the current go to copy on that?

No idea but clean originals sound great, are plentiful and usually run you about $10 in the used bin

I think it's a Bellman cut though and probably top notch sounding.

I have the Walmart pressing (probably not cost effective for you) but that’s an AAA Bellers cut and I remember it sounding good. Discogs says it’s the same as the 2012 cut.

I've got a Japanese og, it sounds really good. According to the obsessives at SHF, it uses US/UK plates. Here's an EX/EX copy

Per a @Mather recommendation, picked up this bad boy on ebay:

sounds great. It's an excellent album and this was plated at RTI I think (although had a paper inner sleeve so don't think it was pressed there...)

Looks like it's the same stamper as the green variant I got from VMP a year earlier. It does sound pretty good.
