Definitive Audiophile pressings

Looks like it's the same stamper as the green variant I got from VMP a year earlier. It does sound pretty good.
Weirdly I checked the runouts now and mine has GOLDEN stamped into it, so wonder if they recently recut it? No die-cut cover either. This ones just a regular gatefold.

Maybe a repress of this then? Seems like the stamper is using the same original work (same RTI numbers).

So as the resident Norah shill, The In Groove guy is saying again that the new Norah Jones is All Analog (the main disc) and he listened, compared it to the Kevin Gray AP production - just cut a little less hot (closer to the tapes), and he was impressed. One person but it's sounding legit.

He also said the Pinkerton MoFi was the last time they had rights to press it out so who knows if that's valid.
early reports from shf are positive so far. Mine should be here next week.

Anyone ever order from bes vinyl? They have a fair number of mofi's in stock for what doesn't seem to be a horribly unreasonable markup. But I've never tried them before.

No, just that the single LP is AAA, very good, and the extra demo's (streaming, not AAA) are interesting.

Cool. Just wondering since VMP had actually used the MOFI plates for their 2017 pressing (so it should be AAA too if the MOFI is). It's one of those where VMP did a pretty good job all around - happened to be my first VMP as well.

I did a little digging on their terms and found this:

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

If you go back to the first remaster pressing it's also listed as having Golden stamped. I suspect it's on all of them, just the cogs listing of a few variants missed it.

Think you guys are talking about two different albums. @JohnnyCashFan is talking about Norah Jones, and I think you're talking about Weezer's Pinkerton, right? I was confused for a minute.

Bingo! I just checked my green VMP copy, and there definitely is a GOLDEN stamp on there. I'll update the listing. (EDIT: it's actually already there in the VMP variant listing, but on a separate line.)
