For all that though I wouldn’t trade my Kinks mono box or AP mono Pet Sounds for all the tea in China.
Funny, I saw your previous post and I immediately assumed your lower total was due to your dislike of jazz.
And only 86 of my 266 are non-jazz records, a large number of which are by the Kinks or the Beach Boys.
Ah see, you have more than you think – I counted the individual records instead of just the box. Same with the Faces and Bee Gees box sets.
I’ve got 97 boombooms just in my want list!<hangs head in shame>View attachment 138223
I think I prefer KG (no surprise there) but RKS is no slouch. Him and Bellman are tied for 2nd favorite for me and Bernie rounds up the top 4.Seems like Ryan Smith is doing most of the Classics over the last little while, too, so there's also that.
And as great as Kevin Gray is, Smith actually deserves more credit for his work. I've got over 80 RKS albums in my collection, and looking at what he's done – everything from the Dylan mono box to the Impulse and Verve reissues he's doing for AP – it's all pretty excellent.
I would send them a email tbhAnother week without a shipping confirmation from AS.
Week 6 now, 3 of them "in progress". Also managed to authorize my card twice for the full amount (when i ordered and when it moved to warehouse) so i've had a total of $719 frozen on my card for the past 4 weeks. One of them expire on Tuesday, though, so that's good haha
And i know they're busy but it's still annoying when you see people get there orders they placed long after i did.
I sent them one Friday last week and this was the reply:I would send them a email tbh
Probably this...What’s your most random or surprising Kevin Gray pressing? Mine has to be a three way tie between Weezer’s Green Album, Sublime, and Enema of the State.

Those Galaxie 500 reissues should be the benchmark for reissues. Flawless pressings, great packaging and great sound. All that for ~$20 each.OrRobyn - Body Talk Pt. 1
