Thanks for sharing. The article inspired me to put on the mono cut of Miles Davis's Round About Midnight that K. Gray mastered. Gotta say, all those Miles mono reissues from 2013 and 2014 are top notch. Definitely recommend them!

So good. And I dunno about anymore, but you could get them for a steal.

This was actually what turned me on to KG. I knew virtually nothing about cutting lacquer back then, but this press just blew me away. Thanks KG! Haha

Yeah, I bought them all up when they were like $20 each. Don't think they're that cheap anymore.

They come in a tearaway cellophane outer sleeve with a big fat mono sticker on them. I believe RTI pressed them all. If opened look for KPG@CA in the deadwax. And the typical clear RTI inner sleeve.

After reading this interview, I counted and it looks like I have a whopping 266 Kevin Gray records in my collection.

Honestly he’s great at what he does but I don’t tend to fuck with jazz and that seems to be 99% of his stuff. Bellman and Ludwig are in much higher numbers in my collection but I don’t think anyone is in 3 figures.
