I need one for eastern sounds if you have one of those as well!Does anyone need a replacement Jacket for the Craft Coltrane Lush Life one step? I have an extra un-numbered jacket if anyone needs it and wants to cover shipping

great question. I usually just ship domestically to US. PM me your shipping info and I will look into it and see if I can get a rough estimate.I do. Do you have any idea what it would cost to ship to the UK?
unfortunately I only have an extra coltane. I got one of the non numbered sleeves initially and they shipped me a numbered replacement sleeve.I need one for eastern sounds if you have one of those as well!
I have the Highway 61 off this series. It’s really good. Haven’t compared to a mofi but I enjoy it a lot. Let me know your thoughts on these. I’d be eager to grab them if they are good.Just got a couple more Dylan titles through from Japan (Along with Blow Up), I wasn't really expecting these to be AAA, from the master tapes as they are pressed & mastered in Japan. But really liked the Highway 61 pressing from a few years ago, so thought I would give them a go.

Haven't listened to them yet, but had a look at google translate & got this from the Hype sticker. Google doesn't give a perfect translation, but. 'Cutting based on the analogue master' would imply it's AAA. Does anyone have any information about Japanese Dylan, do Columbia /Sony have Back up tapes (or even master tapes) in Japan?
I know 'based' on analogue master could mean from a digital transfer, but seems unusual for a Japan release to mention the analogue master at all
@RHANDMJ I seem to remember you new something about this?

Where are you picking these Dylan’s up from? I’m asking for, errrrr, a friend…
For the UK CDJapan is best (could be the best option for your friend). But I have also been using a discogs store in Japan that is HMV Japan; recordshopshibuya. I get charged VAT through Cogs.
I don't think there are many left of Freewheelin & Bringing it all back, you might want to be quick if you want either of those. Blonde on Blonde is on pre-order & being shipped at the end of June.

Would love to hear a comparison to the mofi stereo….Now for my, errrr, collea..
… I mean friend, to decide whether he needs these alongside the monos.

I mean this is the answer. You, er your friend, needs these so he can give everyone a comparison of the stereos and monos.
I’m going to compare the HW 61 to the stereo MOFI at a friends tomorrow. I’m hoping it’s close so I can get the Japan BIABH and save on the mofi. I’ll report back tomorrowIn all seriousness if they weren’t limited I could see myself ordering them later in the year. Can’t justify the cost of importing them right now!

I don't have the mofi stereo for either of these. I do have the mofi mono's. I know the mono's are a different beast & they are 45's vs 33 so it's difficult to compare.
I'll need more listening time TBH to give a proper judgement. Initial impressions on Freewheelin, the stereo seems to have more detail than the mofi mono, maybe a little bit bright, but probably just clearer top end . The mono seems to be a little more weighty in the mid, they are both great listens, not sure which I prefer. I need a few full play throughs to give a proper judgement.
Haven't dug out the Mono of Bringing it all back home yet, but I never thought it hung together very well. I was always a bit disappointed I missed out on the mofi stereo. My Initial impression is the Sony Japan stereo sounds great, really pleased.
I would definitely recommend the Sony Japan reissues, don't know if they are better than the mofi's but for the price I think they're worth it. I'm happy to have them. Great packing & presentation.
@Joe Mac I've spend far too much on records recently, I shouldn't let the FOMO play a part. They will probably re press these again at some point, I would say try and get a copy of Bringing it all back home if you were just to get one. The stereo mix is good, Freewheelin' I'd probably be happy with just having the mono.
Hahaha! Having just bought two box sets for too much money, one of which is Dylan, I’m definitely a little trigger shy, especially for albums I already own a pressing of, albeit mono…
None of us need multiple pressings of the same album. If the ones you have sound good, stick with them.
