Lacks a lot of low end bass frequency

Goodbye Stranger on the Monarch just sounds clean. Switching on the Mofi..

A lot more punch, warmth, dance appeal.

The Monarch is no slouch and I would not hesitate to grab a copy.

Mofi just performed with this one. Their price premium is justified.

Big mail day for me today…saw on Reddit that Monster Music was having a sale last week. Everything on their site was 20% off including used stuff. Saw they had the Stevie MoFi and noticed on discogs they had the AP of Chico Freeman - Spirit Sensitive. That’s been super high on my wantlist for a long time but could never find it for a “good” price. I reached out to see if they would possibly extend the 20% off on Chico as well since it wasn’t on their site and they agreed to it. Arrived today safe and sound and well packaged. Definitely recommend buying from them in the future. I think they are doing the 20% off every first Saturday of the month from now on.

Strange lineup on this one…Cale, Phil Collins, Brian Eno, and Robert Kirby doing the string/choir arrangements (he did the string arrangements on everything from Nick Drake’s albums to Elton John and Paul Weller).

The mofi communique has really been tempting me from target especially since I have a coupon...

The original US and Canadian presses are so good and are a dime a dozen though.
