Definitive Audiophile pressings

So RCJP settled up on the scratched LZ PG and noisy DSOTM with credit so good I am afraid to ask them about it. What does a gambler do with house money? Give it back to the house....

Since the Fed announced today that they're going to raise the interest rates by 75 points, I've read a couple articles saying US exchange rates are going to get even better over the next few weeks... Gonna be watching Japanese stores closely.

$80 for MoFi Dark Side of the Moon described as "G+/VG+ The cover definitely has shelf wear and a split on the top right gatefold sleeve, but the vinyl is very clean save for one little ding that causes 20 seconds of surface noise between Money and Us and Them, comes with MOFI inserts." is a good deal right??? right?

I haven't spun The Wall yet and I'm still waiting on the Bowie's to arrive but damn if I haven't been very very impressed with nearly everything I've recieved so far from Japan.

We should start a Japananon meeting. I have another order coming as well, with Sticky Fingers, George Michael's Faith, Television's Adventures and Echo & The Bunnymen's 1987 s/t.

Very curious how the Bowie's sound, though I have promised myself I will only keep in my collection one copy of each of his albums
I'll let ya know. I have no other copies of these two so I won't be able to compare them to the remasters. But my Bowie loving friend is coming by on Friday and he adores the S/T album and knows it like the back of his hand so he's my guide on that. They could totally be worse than the remasters. But I'm finding this so fun to just try these out and hear the differences that I don't even particularly care.
