Definitive Audiophile pressings

@Mather created a monster when he told me about it. More expensive than RC but the records are even better in quality. And more - or at least different - choices it seems. They seem to have options I could never find at RC.
If the jacket is VG+ nine times out of ten it's basically mint. This 79 Wall looks basically brand new except for a slight yellowing along the spine.

That's what I saw as well with the Zeppelins I got from them. I went with a VG+/VG+ for the Sticky Fingers (1979 pressing) - first time I don't get an NM- vinyl, but they said it was EX with some scuffs, so I'm optimistic.

$80 for MoFi Dark Side of the Moon described as "G+/VG+ The cover definitely has shelf wear and a split on the top right gatefold sleeve, but the vinyl is very clean save for one little ding that causes 20 seconds of surface noise between Money and Us and Them, comes with MOFI inserts." is a good deal right??? right?
from the guy on reddit right? i feel like you could do better...but...did they say if it's the first MoFi or the 2nd MoFi pressing?

edit: maybe can't do better on the price...it has really skyrocketed lately.

I've only had one misgraded item from Ella and it was a Stevie "Songs In The Key Of Life" with a small scratch on Isn't She Lovely but it only results in a low level pop for a minute or so, well behind the music, on an essentially otherwise mint media and jacket for a 2 LP + 7 inch with Obi from 1981... for $38 whole dollars. And you have to have it absolutely CRANKED to hear it. Which is not usually how I listen to "Isn't She Lovely"... in general. So I didn't complain because why would I at this point? It's a steal.

How is their packaging? My one complaint about RCJP is that their packaging isn’t FedEx-proof. Records are always fine, but last couple orders have had crushed corners.

The packaging is probably similar to RCJP. Never had an issue with either though. Ella goes through DHL.

I've never had an issue. Simple mailer with basic corner crush protection but with a super thick cardboard stiffener inside. Also DHL gets it's from Japan to your doorstep in about 4 days on average. Sometimes less. So very little time to get damaged.

DHL is typically better than FedEx in my experience, so that’s a plus.
Near me, both are okay. My RCJP order is coming via FedEx and just shipped today, so will be interesting to see how long it takes! $11 shipping for 5 LPs from japan is a bit worrisome since some places in the US charge that to ship 1LP domestically via FedEx.

Speaking of FedEx, I just realized I never got a second duty/bullshit brokerage charges bill from them for my second AS order... That's odd. They were ordered 2 days apart so I suppose it's possible it was all lumped into one but the bill didn't reflect that... I cannot imagine I'm going to get away with this...

Mather wut are you doing, they're going to go buy all your Ella vinyl... they're going to get there first and buy all the precious precious Ella vinyl...

YES MANY CHARGES VERY EXPENSIVE TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT LAST SHIPMENT HAD AN ANGRY BADGER HIDING IN IT VERY DANGEROUS AVOID AT ALL COSTS

smooth...
