I use the Neil acid clean mix. Can't say enough great things about the results.
Gets off stuff momma said AJAX wouldn't touch.



I smoked a lot of dope to this CD when I was in HS. Just hearing the intro to Another Brick In The Wall.... this is an experience marry jane and CDs couldn't even find.

I wouldn't buy a sealed one unless it's a really good deal, since some people had issues with noise on the pressing. also check ebay--sometimes they pop up for around $100 still.

I have this one, and there are definitely pops on mine, most significantly between Money and Us & Them. I’ve run mine through my Spin Clean, really no difference. Wish I had an ultrasonic cleaner…

US is great. You can get 80% there with Neil's recommendations for cheaper. I use them in combination with the US anyway so it's all good if you ever buy a US in the future. Not wasting any effort/money.

You can Google it and find it pretty easy. He is on a few vinyl forums but avoids this NG gang for some reason 🤔
Neil is the author.

OCD AF but the Dow cleaning agents and recommendations he writes about are truly remarkable in the cleaning arena.
I tried the AIVS stuff and other snake oils.
No contest IMO.

True that. If it's the one with the obi they had listed, it wasn't cheap. I have a feeling you'll decide to keep it, to be honest.

I mean it all sounds fantastic, it's just got a few more tics than I'd like from something listed as NM. Side 3 so far is totally graded right, but I think they were a bit off with side one. That being said very few marks at all and most look superficial and not something that would cause tics so it may just need a good playthrough with the Shibata and then another clean or two.

I hear ya.

Mine is mint clean and still has some scratches that can't be overcome.

It's frustrating this seller sent 4/5 records just mint AF. Then the most important one (PFTW) is a VG+ something with NM classification.


I can't complain because my buy from this guy was less than a one step and I gotreallygoodrecords. Posted in fresh grabs.

Haha yes, if you don't have a shibata, likely MINT AF. I'll let you know after I clean it a few more times. Side 3 and 4 are stone cold mint even without another clean.
