Definitive Audiophile pressings

I would be in to some blues releases.

Indianola Mississippi Seeds would be cool as one thought.
This one just got reissued last year by Friday Music. No clue how it sounds--I know they are kinda hit or miss from what I have heard.

Seriously, it’s a good bump though. Big news for for sure.

What do you hope this new plant will allow MoFi to press? You have a MoFi wish list? We were talking about “coolest” albums MoFi has pressed in the past (I think the consensus is the OMS pressing of Sonic Youth’s Goo). They apparently did a Primus EP at some point too.
I've said it before. But gimme some AAA D'Angelo reissues. Or other albums where bands went through the trouble of recording AAA only to have their records be cut from high res digital...

I have the original Monarch. Sounds Really good with a clean copy, but others in this arena would be great to see released.

I have that Primus MoFi EP. Dont know who mastered it, but it basically sounds like that time Primus played Letterman and the sound guy put the bass way toi low in the mix and you mostly hear drums and guitar. Thats kind of how the MoFI sounds.

MoFi was probably like, " those pesky young-ins always boosting up their bass, I'll show them [shakes fist in air]"

No, the sound guy just had taste….

Man that’s shit

I mean like for all the MoFi hype it’s still just a company. They’ll have some exceptional work and some just ok stuff, and artist curation is a matter of taste and availability. I’m all for more music getting in the hands of talented people to maximize their potential.

If nothing else Styx soundtracks one of the great "last scene in the first episode" moments in TV history so I have a soft spot.
