Good information, Chad’s enthusiasm radiates in the video and seems to speak for itself. Hate or love him it’s refreshing to hear from a company that shares the same passion. Any guesses what the next UHQR might be? I’m thinking The Doors S/T and 45 KOB

Probably Zep stuff.I enjoy his transparency. That's really all I'm asking from MOFI.
He said in the video that 2023 will make classic rock fans happy.

I was just laughing at my credit card22 records. Talk about massive.
That would be incredible.Probably Zep stuff.
Yup. Did you ever pick up Carnegie Hall? Both are pretty much perfect probably only need one but damn that are both so effing good.So uh, the Neil Young Live at Massey Hall pressing is insanely good. Man. Bonkers sound.
I haven't got Carnegie no. I'm honestly not like, a huge Neil fan. I've got the really good best of he put out. Up The Rust Bucket and now Massey and I think I'm probably good with those, kinda covers most of what I want from him I think. But I just can't get over how good this sounds. I'm sure Carnegie is unreal as well.Yup. Did you ever pick up Carnegie Hall? Both are pretty much perfect probably only need one but damn that are both so effing good.
The KOB tapes were toast well before that. Chad never had the tapes, he used the old Classic Grundman plates.I'll have to check out the video.
I thought everyone was reporting the KOB tapes were toast after the last UHQR run.
Interesting. That would make a 45 rpm unlikely? The KOB tapes were toast well before that. Chad never had the tapes, he used the old Classic Grundman plates.
The master is now considered to be the three channel analog remix, which MOFI used.
Not necessarily. Grundman cut a 45 version for Classic, presumably Chad has those plates.Interesting. That would make a 45 rpm unlikely?
So when was the cutoff for the master tape lacquers?
I have a NM '70 stereo in route.
Hoping that is my final copy I'll be happy with
