Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

This is a fair point. Plus I suppose if customs got hold of it (@Mather did customs catch and charge you for the attenuators you had shipped across from these guys) it’s going to end up as much of a muchness anyway.
They did not, but they were only like $60. So far I've never been hit with customs for anything. But it's mostly just been records.

$250 for the AT95ml as for the AT540ml I don't know.

And 210 Canadian dollars for replacement stylus. So Cheaper whenever you need a new stylus. I've no idea if thats a lot of money in Canada. The exchange rate seems a bit wild. I'm all over microliner at the minute. @HiFi Guy what's your take? 230 for a blue stylus or 250 for a full 95ml?

Hahaha! A lady I work with sent her son his PlayStation over to him in Canada via the post, because he wasn’t coming back anytime soon, and didn’t declare it as a gift. Customs opened it and wouldn’t release it until he’d paid duty on the full Canadian RRP of the PlayStation...

@Hollywood BUT! Those attenuators from Analogue Seduction took 8 weeks to finally arrive. So if you order from them expect that it's possible it could take quite a while. I have a record from the UK that's been in the mail for six weeks already. OH CAT SOUNDS, WILL I EVER HEAR YOUR DULCET TONES

No thank you! I'll pass 😄

Hey folks,

My apologies if this has been covered but I am on the market for an RCA cable and the Red River has been suggested to me. Is there a general consensus on a great RCA cable? Does anyone have experience with the Red River?

Thanks!

Hi! Folks generally seem to like Blue Jeans Cables for most things. I personally have a mixture of WireWorld Terra interconnects and a few inexpensive KabelDirekt RCA cables for connecting higher-powered equipment such as my Sonus Port and my headphone amp. They all seem to do the job just fine - the main difference I experience with the Terra interconnects is that they bind much more firmly than the cheaper cables, which is reassuring.

The Red River looks very nice, but is considerably out of my comfort zone, cable-wise. @Mather might be your guy.

Hey I don't know shit. I just bought what I bought and I love them SO MUCH. But I have no idea what's good.

I’d go 95ML all day long.
