i hesitate to do that because i could do all that and still have the issue haha. but its some food for thought! thanks!
Seems to me someone must have a plug in option for people in exactly your situation.

Reminds me does anyone know of a 3.5 mm stereo to optical or coxial cord? I thought i bought one but it goes to a 3.0 mm toslink which I didn't even know was a thing.

Or, I guess line level input would go through the DAC right? i have a 3.5 mm to rca.... would just like to have that for later. although once I have the card...

GOOD JOB GUYS... thanks for the hand!

What are you trying to connect to the optical/coax input? Because they’re both digital inputs so won’t take an analogue signal at all regardless of cable jiggerypokey!

If you’re trying to connect a mini optical port (is a 3.5mm port and connector too but carries a light wave because optical) to an optical port you can get one of the $2 adapters 9’ this page for a standard optical cable.

well there you go... no wonder... just run with the rca then... (the echo puck) - line in will run through the DAC? I've told you guys I have no idea what I am doing.

If it only has line out you’ll have to use a 3.5mm to dual rca and use the normal line in. That won’t run through the DAC it’s the analogue in. The echo would need a digital output to connect it to the DAC.

I, errrrr, don’t hate it. Don’t quite know what house it fits in but it’s kinda fun…
Batman’s.

And not a cool Batman. We’re talking rubber nipples Batman.
