Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

So for $250 usd more than the standard 103 you get a clear plastic body and his name on it?
Good sir, remind me the price of your cables. I’m asking for a friend 👀

But also, just for the record since it's kinda taken on a life of its own, my cables cost me between $165 USD and $550 USD each. That's half of the retail price for each cable and I replaced every single power cable in the system along with every RCA and the speaker cables.
So thousands of dollars.

You spend thousands of dollars on cars gas and insurance every year. I spend zero. So I can spend it how I like. This is how I like. Besides there are many people on this forum with more expensive rigs and cables than mine so aside from the fact that I joke about it I don't really get the infatuation...

i wonder if my music hall PA2.2 can do MC cartridges good enough... the hana el asks for more than 400 load impedance and the MC side of it have only 100 ohm.. that and the fact that it only does 0.4mV and hana needs 0.5mV

otherwise I think when I upgrade (whether rega, musichall, mofi, etc depends on my future.. i need a job) I might just stay on moving magnet (maybe getting a bronze or something)

I just like poking the bear…

I feel like this doesn't mean what you think it means.

It just means it needs a 0.4mV input to hit a rated output (305mV). If the Hana is putting in 0.5mV, it just means you'll be getting a slightly louder output signal. The Hana "needs" less amplification than some MCs.
thanks for the explaination.... still dunno if id go moving coil because the impedance load but thanks for explaining that
