If you’re going Sonos I’d just get one of their subs and it will be all wireless and connected in.

PD151 price did go up when they introduced the Mk II to replace the Mk I after Jelco went out of the tonearm business.

I heard these a few months back and they're real nice. Just smooth full punchy balanced sound.
And the blue with the matching stands are really eye catching in person.

Different. The added bass makes a big difference, especially if you don’t run a sub. The Meta material helps even out the highs and upper mids, and of course they will handle more power and provide more spl.

Yes. I had R3 and LS50 Meta and the R3 kicked its ass.

Thanks - I'll keep a lookout for deals on the R3 Meta, but it won't be urgent for me. I use the LS50's in my office with a sub; they were a great upgrade from my ancient Boston Acoustics.
