Man, that looks like trouble to me!Does anyone know where I can get a stylus guard like the one in this photo?

I don’t know if that’s a “most cartridges will fit” or specific to a mfg, but it looks brilliant. Actually protecting the whole cart.
I have all three.Man, that looks like trouble to me!Then again, I don't have cats or kids. Or a cleaning lady.
During those years, I used a decent MM with a replaceable stylus that I wouldn’t cry about.I have all three.![]()
Smart man. I was doing the same thing, only the cause was known. Mea culpa. It was during my “driving while blind” days. I finally figured it out.During those years, I used a decent MM with a replaceable stylus that I wouldn’t cry about.
When the stylus got bent by unknown forces, I rode out to the record store and bought a new one.
You have enough traffic risk that the plastic caps that come with the cart is not enough?Does anyone know where I can get a stylus guard like the one in this photo?

I have acrylic covers for both tables. The cleaners shearing off my cantilever once was enough to prove their value to me.You have enough traffic risk that the plastic caps that come with the cart is not enough?
Maybe a big dust cover with the mission impossible burglar sirens would be better?
Vinyl - MoFi StudioDeck + Nagaoka MP-200 --> Darlington Labs MP7BWhat source would you be using?
I'm thinking this tooI’d buy a MAC7200 and it would be totally worth it.
I've got the 10S MKII. I bought the wireless adapter because I didn't know where I would want to place it, but I ended up keeping it in the first place I put it. It's close to the room corner. It's close to a book shelf and curtains but turns out that those don't impact the sound enough for me to notice.Speedwoofer arrived today! hooked it up in one part of my room and it had some terrible humming if I turned the volume up at all. Unplugged it, moved it elsewhere and set up the transmitter again and works perfectly now.
Anybody have tips for placement or just trial and error? Will definitely take me some time to fine tune the levels and things. And mess with crossover frequency
I’d ask how many hours are on the cartHmmm, not sure that link workedView attachment 226951View attachment 226952
Yeah, just saw an open box for just over $2100. Definitely seems priced too high.Looks like you can buy that table new for around 2400 with a Goldring Eroica LX MC cart. I’d think a used one that is 2-3 yrs old without a cart would sell closer to $1000-1200 personally.
*edit as I forgot about the cart.
100 hours or so he says. But he won't bend on the price, so, that's thatI’d ask how many hours are on the cart
