100 hours or so he says. But he won't bend on the price, so, that's that
Take a look at The Music Room. Nothing but positive experiences. And they can be pretty flexible on price once an item has a “Make an Offer” button. I call them instead of dealing online to avoid missing out on an item. Great return policy, they don’t quibble about it. A+.

There are a couple nice looking MoFi on there. Hmm
Those still in high regard by many here on the forum?

Fwiw they’ve also been flexible on price without “buy it now”. Ive bought three things from them by calling sales and asking if they have flexibility.

Well there's the rub, in Canada that 21+ is $5500 CAD before 13% tax. I could probably get the Arcam or NAD for $2000 or under. I eventually want to probably grab the Nu Vista 800.2 and @ $5500 that's almost two thirds of the cost of a demo Nu Vista. I'm sure it would be amazing but I think it's just too expensive to reasonably pull the trigger on. I have no experience with separates but with the AVR acting as the pre, how much does the power amp color the sound in general? I kind of assumed it would produce more punch but ultimately the sound signature would still pretty much remain from the pre?
The Absolute Sound seems to like the NAD C298 now, but they are a bit late to the party.

Frankly, there is not much separating most of these high power Class D amps other than brand, build quality and aesthetics.

The heavy lift engineering was done by Bruno Putzeys and most manufacturers are just assembling using his modules. The way he has dominated the Class D market is frankly astounding.

Leo at Orchard Audio rolls his own. He designed his own modules. Doesn’t use the Ice/Purifi/Hypex that a lot of vendors repackage.

This video provides a good breakdown of the products. A future upgrade for me is to get a set of the OA monoblocks.

The Starkrimson and PS Audio BHK Pre have dethroned the Kinki Amp as my favorite. Although i’m listening to Sonny Stitt ‘Blow the Blues’ via the Kinki right now and it sounds fantastic.

I’m sure all this gear sounds great. I haven’t heard it all, not even close. Maybe I have to get a YouTube review channel.

if you ever move on from your kinki, let me know...

Are you looking for g for an integrated amp with a phono pre amp in it, or an outboard phono pre-amp? What cart are you using as well?
It's a setup for a family member, a basic Audio Technica AT-LP 60x out of the box with Dual Magnet cartridge. Nothing elaborate going on, but trying to get a bit stronger signal through the Edifers that we're getting now with just turntable/speakers. I think an integrated amp is what we're thinking vs outboard, but open to ideas.
