Are you filling your flasks with the right stuff?Speaking of starting to play games again, I started to play Elden Ring again last night after a good year and a half of not playing.
I have completely forgot the mechanics of the game and I'm getting my ass handed to me. I'm a mage, and my magic is empty after I kill 3 regular guys and well before I kill any kind of beast. And then I'm a sitting duck.
Honestly just reading this makes me want to fire it up again, lolSpeaking of starting to play games again, I started to play Elden Ring again last night after a good year and a half of not playing.

I figured it was something like that, but I don't remember how.Are you filling your flasks with the right stuff?
I haven't played in a few months so I'd have to look it up too. But I know there is a way to change how many you allocate between healing and mana. Then they replenish when you sit at a save point.I figured it was something like that, but I don't remember how.
I think it's okay to grind a bit with a group of enemies to get some Runes, go to nearby site of grace, enemies respawn, repeat, level up when you have a lot of Runes. I had to do that a few times before facing a couple of bosses or encountering a more difficult area.Speaking of starting to play games again, I started to play Elden Ring again last night after a good year and a half of not playing.

yes you can allocate more to mana at the sites of grace. For a mage you'll definitely want more magic.I haven't played in a few months so I'd have to look it up too. But I know there is a way to change how many you allocate between healing and mana. Then they replenish when you sit at a save point.
It's all about that grind.I think it's okay to grind a bit with a group of enemies to get some Runes, go to nearby site of grace, enemies respawn, repeat, level up when you have a lot of Runes. I had to do that a few times before facing a couple of bosses or encountering a more difficult area.

the last time a mario game pissed me off was in odyssey for the jump rope challenge moon.
that shit was so unnecessary evil lol
this is actually a pet peeve of mine in video games in general. i hate when a game has a challenge so absurdly high that’s almost impossible to achieve through manual gameplay withouti relying on hacks or cheats.
another example of this that i remember is in hyper light drifter had a challenge of completing a perfect dash 800 times without messing up. very annoying, and i never got to complete it
It hasn’t been out for too long but you’re already able to fully complete it? Is it too short of a game or is there a decent amount to do? Too often Nintendo make excellent games that are way, way too short.I just finished getting 100% in Super Mario Bros Wonder. I really, really loved it, what a great game!
that said, the...
Final-Final Badge challenge was hell. at least it has checkpoints, but even still the amount of hours and Marios it took to finish it make it completely miserable. kind of left a sour taste for me being so mad at the game at the very end. I understand the stage is completely optional, but as I wanted to 100% the game I had to do it.. ha ha
yeah, it game out last week. it felt like a pretty standard length for a Mario 2D game. I honestly don't have any complaints about the value, but I completely understand why someone might. you can probably "beat" the game in a single sitting if you did the bear minimum, but to complete everything will definitely take a lot longer (depending on your platforming skill level). It hasn’t been out for too long but you’re already able to fully complete it?
