Everything Video Games!

It might be depending on what version you got.
Just added it on! Very excited, didn’t want to play any of the game without Phantom Liberty included as I hear it affects your play through/story.

About how far into the game do you encounter Phantom Liberty content? Do I have time to play the base for a bit while it downloads in the background?

It does add some stuff to the main game but it won't prompt you to start the missions until you're about 10-12 hours into the main game. So as long as you have the main 2.0 download for the main game it won't really affect much to start while it's downloading.

You're going to be on the character creation screen for like 2 hours anyway so you'll be good.

there are different takes on when to start Phantom Liberty. I'm on my second playthrough of CP2077 (I played on Stadia a couple years ago, so no 2.0 or Phantom Liberty), and I didn't start any missions/step into Dogtown until I was about 40-50 (edit: potentially 60+) hours in.

Persona has my heart. The way it combines an epic storyline, memorable characters, and addictive gameplay is just pure magic. But hey, let's not forget about CS2 too. One of my all-time favorites. Both Persona and CS have their own unique appeal, so it's all about personal taste.

Man, I was VERY tempted to buy an XBSX this weekend but held firm. There were some seriously good deals. Another website I saw had it at $450 + a Game + a $75 eGift card. I need to HODL until I move and get more of an entertainment center set up in a new house.

In other news I started playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch over the long weekend and it's surprisingly good. I love Studio Ghibli films + Joe Hisaishi scores but I am not a huge JRPG fan outside of Pokemon and the like. This game feels exactly like Pokemon Sword/Sheild but significantly better. Story, gameplay and characters are all super engrossing and entertaining. Combat is not strictly turn based like Pokemon, it's sort of the same format but with instantaneous action. I don't know enough about JRPGs to know if there's a name or terminology for the combat in this game.

Help! I played the demo for Dave the Diver on Switch before finishing Super Mario Bros Wonder and TOTK and now all I want to do is play Dave the Diver.

Something about deep sea spearfishing and sushi restaurant management just feels right.

Update: This game is insanely addictive. I do wish the load times were better.

Ummm. Okay, I'll watch it. Geez.

I was always going to watch it, but then I saw Kyle MacLachlan post about being in it last week and now I’m extremely excited.
Wow, I’m actually impressed, although if they really wanted to punch me in the gut they should’ve used I Don’t Want To Set The World on Fire by The Ink Spots as the trailer song
I had this exact same thought watching the trailer. Its fan service but it would make the hype even greater.

It looks better than I thought it would.

I do like the tone they are going with and was worried it would be too much drama when it was first announced the Westworld people were making it.

As for gaming - I would guess I'm still the only one here still playing Diablo 4.

As mentioned above, I got a character to 100 as I've gotten bored with my 2 previous characters and only got to the early 90's with them.

This past week I finally tried a tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon and can now beat them regularly - and I finished this season, so I can try the new hard end game stuff coming up this week.
