Day 9 - Super Bowl Sunday - Play something that reminds you of a sport, or that mentions a sport.

When I saw Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds back in 2023 he scratched Live Forever off the setlist because his voice was shot from being at a local bar and celebrating Man City winning the Champions League earlier in the day. He did acknowledge that he didn't want to do it because his voice was trashed, and he didn't want to "look like a c**t on youtube".

I got to see Liam sing it last year, and get to see Oasis sing it this year, so that removes the sting a bit.

Thought of this former referral from @scotthilk for this challenge. Here's the original info from 2020 -

Ladies and gents, I had an idea for my "super duper special record #2" - - but it shifted just a tad.

Here's the deal. When I got into Apollo Sunshine, I also started researching every band on their label (Black & Greene Records). I discovered Bryan Scary who quickly became one of my favorites.

He has never released anything on wax - until today. Black And Greene are releasing a /150 run of his album on beautiful wax. I'd love it if you listened to the album and considered grabbing it. If I was in line to run this or next month's N&G ROTM Thread, I would have posted it on there. Alas, this is the best I can do for now. This is far more special to me than any normal Pre-Order I would post.

"Bryan Scary's second album sucks in all kinds of 1970s rock-- the canonic glitter-rock of Sparks and Queen, the MOR pop of Wings and ELO, and the fleet-fingered prog of Yes and early Genesis. The end game is not so much prog as power-pop with chops."

If this song sells you, please check it out. For fans of: Beatles, YES, Beethoven, Queen, ELO.

Got ADD? Even better. It's all over the place. The song below will demonstrate some of that!

Full album: Flight of the Knife, by Bryan Scary

Try it out. I will be working with the label on something in the future for a "N&G Exclusive Variant" of a record.

Album is slated to ship around XMAS.
