It’s the next 33 1/3 book in my journey. Took me a minute to decide which pressing to buy. I’m not familiar with it. Excited based on the love I see for it around here and elsewhere.Forever Changes ❤ Arthur Lee

Well I haven't been able to spin it yet but I'm super impressed with the new Elliott Smith debut album 2LP remaster package. This thing comes with, or basically IS, a 52 page hardcover book with page after glossy page of personal photos and stories from his friends and family. You can tell a lot of thought went into it and it's probably one of the best quality "box set books" I've come across. Now... hopefully the vinyl actually sounds good unlike pretty much every single Elliott Smith repress that currently exists.
I will be spinning it shortly. Be right back...Please let us know. I gave this one a hard pass but the book does look nice. If the sound quality is there, I might be nudged toward a purchase.
Woah how have I never heard of this one?? How’s the pressing sound?no RSD today. mail call:
Psychedelic art, jazz covers of Beatles songs.

I count myself extremely lucky that my lady loves the idea of having a jukebox. Now we just need a place that’s not a 2nd floor walk up apartment to move it into...I want one too. Pretty sure it would be a bridge too far.
Okay so the mastering is really good for a comp album. But the pressing can be a bit poppy. It's worth it for sure since it's pretty cheap. But I wouldn't expect a super clean pressing. But mine just has pops, no crackle or fuzz. And it's tolerable. It's a fantastic album.Woah how have I never heard of this one?? How’s the pressing sound?
I'm a bit confused and have lost track of the relevant post. You're talking about the Elliott Smith comp? (which I don't think is what MikeH was referring to in his post that you replied to)Okay so the mastering is really good for a comp album. But the pressing can be a bit poppy. Ha, yeah, that's what I thought, but I also thought @Mather was going to come back with his thoughts about the Elliott Smith reissue, so I'm not sure what's going on.The Beatles jazz covers is the album I’m taking about
