Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto - Getz/Gilberto
The Schnauss was a fantastic PIF from @Kris and the Whirr was an amazing PIF from @JonnyH , two wonderful records from two wonderful N&G mainstays.
The Valium Aggelein and Getz/Gilberto were two preorders that just arrived in the mail.
Lastly, Joe Ely was still sealed and purchased for under $6 from a relatively local record store that we visited over the weekend to pickup a t-shirt for the N&G t-shirt exchange and while I was there I went through there RSD leftovers and figured I would pick up the The Lurch 7” as a fun novelty to spin during Halloween.

I first ordered it wayyyy back in May and promptly received a vibrator instead which they acted like was just "something that happens sometimes" and of course the album goes on backorder, a month later I finally get an actual album but its damaged asf so this repeats 2 more times and I finally got a mostly damage free copy about 4 months later!

One of the smaller problems with this pandemic is that my strategy of having some records delivered to my parents in the UK (tolls, much cheaper postage etc) rather fell through. So finally my Mum got bored of staring at the boxes and sent them through. Excited to hear Cherry Tree exclusive after signing up two years ago. I've since cancelled as didn't seem to make much sense living in Norway. Every time @Joe Mac plays Poguetry in Motion I want it so I finally bought it (although mine is a 7" and my only 7 that plays at 33rpm, I think). Plus five more singles from my beloved Poly-Rythmo, some of their rarest stuff, and one by their big Beninese rivals, Orchestre Black Santiago. A good way to celebrate my missus testing negative for blooming corona too...
