Oh man I am excited!!!! The Max Roach and Eric Dolphy are the Deagostini. I have been wanting to pick up the Charlie Haden and Blakey for a while now, so hopefully I get them (and hopefully they are good pressings!).

Still waiting on a dispatch notice though, I actually emailed and they responded to say they aren't able to check the status of their orders (which is weird).

if its all deagostini ill mostlikely have dupes. hoping for the Shoter, Moanin, Drum Suite, Nelson

Not sure they are all deagostini, I haven't seen them in shrink without the sticker before, but I might be wrong.

I have just had an email from them to say mine is on special order from the supplier but they dont know when it will be in stock, looks like they oversold (which is weird considering they are still for sale on their website).

youll always have the name of the OG label on it. doesnt mean its not a grey market label.
the deagostini stuff is legit though. the ones with the green sticker are from that series for sure

I have all these albums from this set bar Wayne Shorter so hopefully I’ll get that. Any duplicates I’ll let you all know. The Art Blakey Drum Suite had a wide pressing issue btw, many copies had Jaco Pastorius’ debut album on it instead. Still a great album but worth checking to see if you have Art or Jaco.

Thanks for that information. I indeed seem to have thr Jaco Pastorius debut album instead, though even the label indicates The Art Blakey Drum Suite. Sounds great though, so I don't mind.

I had the Jaco on the original run and emailed Deagostini and was sent a replacement which then had Art, so they are out there. The Jaco is superb though, that Sam & Dave track is real nice stuff
 
Bob Marley and the Wailers - Live at the Rainbow 4th June 1977

Due to a monumental cock-up by Amazon, I managed to get this basically for free and blimey does this sound great - Bob and the Wailers are really on top form and the hype about them being pushed by punk to perform is spot on. Exodus, Jamming, War all sound as good as I've ever heard them as do many of the other classics. Also, the guy who shouts "Rastafar-iiiiii" out about every 5 seconds and who is v audible on the streaming is fortunately much harder to make out most of the time on this...

One more. Late arrival. I know some people had mixed feelings about this MoFi reissue but it is the first standard release on the Super Vinyl. Mine came directly from MoFi and FWIW are #ed 669 & 670 out of 2000. I wish I had an earlier version to compare (nitpick) the differences. Given this is the first of a likely new series and a well respected record in general it is almost for sure going to be hard to come by once it’s gone.
