Nice!! I did yes, it actually arrived a couple of days after I ordered it back in December. Mine does have a slight warp as well. Not so much that it's unplayable though, its decent and certainly not the most warped record I have. If it had been a new release I would have emailed for a replacement but in this situation it's fine. Sounds fantastic as well, can't believe I passed on it the first time!

Edit: also, did you sign up to their subscription series? They teased the next 2 releases earlier today....

No I did not. I need to see how all that Brexit thing will affect purchases, shipments, etc... It took almost one month for my last UK purchases to arrive here and I believe it may get longer. What are these next 2 releases (if you don't mind to share the info)?

I completely understand, I have been waiting on a record from Japan and Canada for over a month each now, the postal service here is really struggling in general before we even consider how shipping from Europe will be affected because of Brexit. In fact, I have a magazine subscription and 4 weeks worth turned up yesterday along with a load of Christmas cards, so it looks like Royal Mail are collating loads before they deliver.

Its more of a teaser, a slightly blurred photo of some musicians. Presumably the next 2 will include them in some way.

It is surprising. Shipping from Japan is usually pretty fast but can also be pretty expensive sometimes. Did you purchased from HMV?

No this one was a shop called Guitar Records. I emailed them to see if they could ship the copy of Ray Russell (the Jazz In Britain one) to the UK and they got back to me with a price. I paid over PayPal and a few days later asked if there was tracking. They said there was no tracking but it should take 5-10 days (that was over a month ago). Weirdly they then actually requested more money even though it was supposedly already posted. I haven't paid the extra as I wanted the record to arrive first (as I wouldn't be covered for a second payment) but no luck yet.

Hoping this doesn't turn into a PayPal claim.

Never heard of this web shop. I hope your record will arrive soon. They may have used SAL option though. It's the cheapest it but can be very long (some web shops says it can take up to three months to be delivered to some countries).

Ah that's interesting to know, thanks! I'm not in a rush for it now I picked up that signed copy, it's just going to get listed for the same amount that I paid for it when it arrives anyway......if it arrives.
 
A few albums arrived the ordered from a French label "Soufflé Continu'. A Jeff Gilson free jazz homage to Stravinksy. Sahib Shihab & Gilson and another by Alain Bellaiche. I thought they might get stuck at Dover but they didn't take too long.

Also, picked up a copy of the Dire Straits MoFi.

edit - I'm not always into the free jazz stuff, but had a listen to the first side of Massacre Du Printemps & it sounds pretty great.

The 10 inch w the b-sides and rarities turned out to be my fave part of the set. Some really beautiful songs on there

Great selections. I picked up the Ornette Coleman Atlantic Years Box Set from WHSmith a while ago after they had it on offer. I had previously bought it from Amazon but it came battered. At least with HMV I was able to order it to the shop and have a look at it first.

Great picks buddy, I think the Nathan Davis and John Lewis/Sacha Distel might just be my favourites that Sam Records have released so far (although im constantly changing my mind on that :ROFLMAO: )
