Fresh Grabs

I thought this box was ridiculous and just laughed at it for a few years...... Then it got to only $150ish after considering points back so it ended up getting the final laugh but just the book, all the vinyl and bluray is worth that much and them including a hidden replica of the original demo tape was a pretty cool touch I didn't know about until after ordering as well.

I got an email saying it had shipped and the weight was about 52 pounds. 😲 I wont flood it in here with pictures of the inside since it's pretty extensive and most have probably seen it by now but it's all extremely well done and nicely built all around. I'll also say this is probably the greatest packaging of anything I have ever ordered! It came in a huge brown box with the inside all cushioned then the black box below with even more protection. The thing is an absolute beast as you can see even Angela is utterly shocked!

Then along with the box above I grabbed the great Corinne Bailey Rae (15th Anniversary edition in red) album.

Then a little pre-gaming for Target's sale with Prince's Purple Rain and the one Walmart record I got in there $15 sale with the Ozzy. This is only one i'm a bit worried about the sound but hopefully it's at least solid!

I had been waiting on this Marcus D – Melancholy Hopeful pre-order for some time and while the heavy duty jacket is beautifully done with the foil accents they missed the mark by quite a bit with the actual design of the pressing compared to the mock photo below 😬. As long as it sounds good though i'll forgive that. Makes me really wish I won one of the Wax Mage versions now.

FYI: I can’t Read any of your comments because of the white text on white white background.

Nice haul though.

I got it to have as emergency to leave country if needed, but I would be most excited to visit Japan first (studied 日本語 for three years in high school + some in college).
Nice. (The Japan part not the part about needing to leave the country due to an emergency). mine just expired but I am lazy so I will probably wait to renew it until we have concrete plans to travel outside the US.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - Raise The Roof
Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band - The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concert
Led Zeppelin - The Final Rehearsal 2007

Hoping my girlfriend doesn't lurk here otherwise she's seeing one of her presents. Plus one of the best live albums I've heard (just love the covers - Stay and the Detroit Medley). Finally, an oddity. Never seen or heard of this before but saw it in my local. It's obviously a bootleg but looks completely official. Rather good sound although guitar down in the mix and Jason Bonham high up. Nice to hear Plant's voice without any tricks/effects. A decent listen. (Only weird thing is I don't have Celebration Day on vinyl, just on CD/DVD).
