Fresh Grabs

Have you taken a look at disc 4 yet? My first copy's was horribly warped. And so was the replacement...

Everything else was flawless though.
Yes I went straight to disc 4 because I read that was the big problem with warp and no fill. I had a TINY amount of no fill. But like... tiny... 2 little quick zippers. And it is quite dished but I can flatten with my clamp and I can tell that they're likely all gunna look like this. So if the other discs are good (fat chance) then I'm good.

Same with disc 4 here, but only heard some minor pops. I also had some seam splits on the inners unfortunately but not worth returning over.

The "I hadn't planned on having anything to do with a Boxing Day Sale until @Hemotep posted about Dead Dog Records' 33.3% off deal" haul...

Adele – 30 {RTI Pressing}
Sarah MacDougall – Grand Canyon
Petunia & The Vipers – Petunia & The Vipers
Yoke Lore – Absolutes EP
Grouplove – Broken Angel
Grouplove – Healer
Ugly Duckling – Audacity
{10th Anniversary Edition}

The Yoke Lore and Grouplove are for my wife, Adele is for both of us with Christmas money from my grandmother, Ugly Duckling was ridiculously cheap and Sarah MacDougall & Petunia are both friends of mine from my years of touring and working venues.

A little spendy today, but that's because I stopped in a nearby record store I've never been to that I forgot existed. Good to see that Miles is still around that I missed on RSD. Lana's have been disappearing so grabbed that used copy. At the Drive in was only $40 for this splatter edition. A huge steal looking at discogs.

Way back in the dark ages of 1995 I used to have this old van that straight up looked like something you warn your kids about in an afterschool TV special and this was one of the tapes that never, ever left the center console tape carrier. (other constants: achtung baby, a 90 min maxell that had nevermind on one side and incesticide on the other, another that was pretty hate machine and broken, weezer's blue album, revolver, rust in peace, master of puppets and houses of the holy)

Update: they offered me a 10% refund (approximately $2 off) I politely declined and requested a replacement.
Damn, UMG must by hard up for cash they are really pushing me on this Eels seam split.

They first offered me a 10% refund to which I declined. Now Dan H. has chimed in and said they can’t replace the album since I have removed the album from the plastic wrap prior to contracted them. As such he can only give me a 15% discount.

See the problem here is that I haven’t removed it from the plastic wrap. The album was never opened, you can see the split through the wrapper.

At this point I told them either send me a new album or issue me a full refund by next Friday or I am filing a claim with PayPal.

Fuck You Dan H.
