Nice trip!!Went to the local for Beach House, and walked out with a nice stack. @Slimwhit33 and @TenderLovingKiller® reminded me that I don't have any J Mascis solo albums on vinyl, but fixed that with a purple, used copy of my favorite from him that I found in the bins. @scotthilk , i found the last The Faint album I wanted there too! Then some really clean originals of some great albums. Horizon arrived in the mail too!

He was pricing a whole stack of Dead records when I was checking out, and saw Terrapin sticking out so I asked about it as its one of the few of there's I still needed.Nice Terrapin Station! Still need to find a copy of that.
Neil Ardley - A Symphony Of Amaranths (Regal Zonophone, 1972 First Factory Sample Pressing)
Well, this is a big find! In a way that borderlines on the obsessive, I typically search eBay every few days for the same albums/musicians to see if any good deals are posted in the hopes that I can swoop in before anyone else does. "A Symphony Of Amaranths" has been on my wantlist for ages but it's quite the rarity and sells for silly money (there is one on there currently for bid with a £300 start). This time, I lucked out massively. A copy was posted that had the factory sample label on it, but without the sleeve, for a bid start or best offer. I offered what I thought to be quite low and amazingly it was accepted. Sure, it would be great to have the sleeve but for the price I paid, I am more than happy with this!

Various - Music From The Sound Track 'All Night Long' (Fontana, 1962 First Mono Pressing)
Shirley Scott - Hip Twist (Prestige/Esquire, 1963 First UK Pressing)
Mike Taylor - Remembered (Lantern Heights, 2022 Limited Pressing)
The "All Night Long" is a great example of cheap heat and features the creme of British Jazz (Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Ross, Johnny Dankworth, Kenny Wheeler, etc) alongside their American contemporaries (Charles Mingus, Dave Brubeck, etc). The Shirley Scott was another cheap find which I think was down to a dirty cover that has since cleaned up amazingly well. I usually remove price stickers but kept this one as it was priced at an incredible 80p at one point in its life, so it's staying. Finally, a huge thanks to @Andy for sharing the Mike Taylor album over on the Jazz Thread. This originally came out in 2007 (recorded in 1973) by Johnny Trunk but has had a limited reissue of 500 copies on Lantern Height. Andy, as an FYI the Discogs info seems to have it as being the same master as the Johnny Trunk release.

Sylvester - Step II (Fantasy, 2022 Vinyl Me Please Classics Pressing)
BadBadNotGood - Talk Memory (XL Recordings, 2021 Vinyl Me Please Exclusive Pressing)
Mitski - Laurel Hell (Dead Oceans, 2022 Vinyl Me Please Exclusive Pressing)
The latest VMP box which came with an excessive amount of stickers! I decided to swap this month for the BADBADNOTGOOD.

Jazz: A Student's and Teacher's Guide by Graham Collier (Cambridge University Press, 1978)
Inside Jazz by Graham Collier (Quartet Books, 1977)
A couple of books from bassist Graham Collier. "Jazz: A Student's and Teacher's Guide" seems to get into the more technical side of jazz, whereas "Inside Jazz" seems to focus more on his anecdotes and personal experience, so it should be a good couple of reads.

Yeah weirdly all 3 this month came in separate mailers. So Mitski turned up after I had already cleaned the others. Looking forward to listening to it, I purposely went in blind with this one knowing that there is a high chance I will like it.Your Mitski arrived already? Nice!

54 at the end of MarchI just hit 42 this past Monday - which puts me on the Aquarius side of the cusp and not in the Pisces club with you cats, but I do like the fact we all share a suffix despite our different decades!
