King Gizz - Butterfly 3000 and 3001.

Fell for a bit of email marketing and got these on a discount deal for getting both at the same time. Packing on this was textbook on how it should be done, although I nearly left the cardboard outers in the mailer thinking they were packing materials!

Was not record shopping. Stopped into a Goodwill outlet (by the pound) and found 3 Christmas records in nice shape in the blue bins. Been after the Nat King Cole since a friend recommended it. In the back is a Frank Sinatra.

Pretty sure it’s a Plain Recordings pressing. At this price I’d just stick with digital until a quality pressing is released.

Yeah I’ll let you know when I get around to spinning. It seems like it’s been completely remastered. It is a killer comp and for a casual fan like me it mops up the stuff outside of Pets Sounds that I really need.

It does have a “Made In The Czech Republic” sticker on the back though…

I also got the Sounds of Summer comp and should be able to spin it today. Will let you know my thoughts but I agree with @Joe Mac, it's the perfect comp for a casual fan like myself.
