Sometime in the middle of last night, I ended up finding myself in the Hamilton area at the in-law’s. After a bit of sleep to wear off the grogginess and a few coffees to find my bearings again, I escaped the house with my daughter to check out Dr Disc. Came back with these.

Yeah, I'd completely forgotten it was coming until I noticed someone grabbing it for half price on the US Universal site. Thankfully they had one single copy at my local; I paid full price without hesitation.

Used a gift certificate at the local and found a nice copy of the good pressing of Jukebox and the latest Fussell record. Then had to stop by the mall for a quick minute and dropped into Barnes and Noble to see what might be dealing. Tommy 3LP for $5 and half off on Wrecking Ball was hard to pass up.

This shipped from France after our postal strike was beaten into submission; meanwhile I'm still waiting on items that shipped from Germany, Britain and the U.S. of A  before the strike.

I mean it kind of makes sense from a logistical standpoint. Why add shit that is coming in on the pipeline to the pile of backlogged shit? Keep sorting that all out without further bottlenecking everything.

I'll try and get it on the table before too long. Yeah, I saw was Third Man when putting it in 'cogs, and the one comment says a pretty low volume pressing.

I ordered a couple of albums off my want wist from a seller in Japan that arrived today…

Seaweed - Weak (1992)
original pressing on green vinyl. Someday someone will reissue Seaweed’s discography, until then this’ll have to do.
BS 2000 - Simply Mortified (2001)
the sophomore album by the Beastie Boys Ad Rock side project.

I also found a couple gems at my local today

Eisley - Room Noises (2005)
I’ve always loved this album from my MP3 days.
Cults - Cults (2011)
I originally purchased this album back in 2011 for like $20 as a new release but had since given it away to a friend. I don’t regret giving it away but I am happy to have a copy back in my collection.
