Anything your REALLY familiar with will be a good testI'll test it out with Eisley "Room Noises". Should be a good test to hear distortion on those vocals.

Room Noises was the last thing I listened to last night. Pretty sure those drums weren't there last night!Anything your REALLY familiar with will be a good test
I think that's on the low end, maybe go 1.65/1.7Now my second test Texas Sun is skipping. What could be up with that? Tracking force shows 1.58.
Up to 1.79 and still skipping. Gonna give another record a try.I think that's on the low end, maybe go 1.65/1.7
Anything’s possible. You should give the record a clean and try again.Up to 1.79 and still skipping. Gonna give another record a try.
Edit: Trying David Gray White Ladder and no skipping. Even on the thumping bass on Please Forgive Me. Is it possible I just had a bum copy of Texas Sun that my Black handled find but not the Blue?
I’ve got a forty five that’s gonna make pull out my Demon Days and my 45 of Mannish Boy later today. Demon days for tracking in general and the Muddy Waters because it will show sibilance if anything is off.Spoke too soon. Major skips on Fire Coming Out of the Monkeys Head.
It looks tilted to the left to me. Do you have a top down pic?I know it's hard to tell from a picture but here is my alignment as best I could photograph at the 2 Stevenson points. Does anything look majorly off?

How do I adjust the tilt? With the screws? It looks tilted to the left to me.
How do I adjust the tilt? With the screws?
UTurn. I didn't adjust anything in the headshell (mainly because you can't)mm
Your azimuth is off (tilt). What turntable is it?

I'll give it a try when I get home. Would that contribute to skipping issues? Or am I still looking for another culprit?Yes you can. There’s an upward facing screw (screw head towards the platter. Loosen it and rotate the headshell until it’s level. Tighten screw.

How do I make sure it's level besides the eye test?It could contribute definitely as the stylus isn’t making proper contact with the groove walls.
