Yeah I managed to get the newspaper and bag into a oversized sleeve, along with the album jacket in a separate 10" sleeve. So everything is pretty well protected.. Although when it comes to off gassing... who knows...

It’s supposed to last a lifetime and after 11 years mine still looks good but it is biodegradable plastic and it will eventually break down. I kinda like that, nothing lasts forever…

I have been looking for a thin 12x12 box to put it in though, even if it’s just so it sits better on the shelf…

Do you like the pressing?

The mastering is fantastic, sounds really really good. Disc one is pretty much perfect, disc two has more pops and noise than I would like but I suppose it's to be expected for discs that have been sitting in those cardboard sleeves for ten years. All in all yes, happy. I'll give disc two a clean again but I suspect it is what it is... Still a great listen
 
So i reached out to waste about skips/pops/distortion on my cream scarry vinyl…here’s the reply I got

I am very sorry to hear your copy of Kid A is faulty.

We are hoping to receive replacement stock within the next couple of months and once these have been received, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you.

That’s almost identical to the response I got except they told me that replacements would be good to go in February, which I suppose is now this month!

Does your tracking number show any movement out of anaheim yet though? I got a shipping email a few weeks ago, but, every time I check the tracking number, it just says “label created.”

Also, I got an email today from the Kid A Mnesia store that really vaguely apologized for delays and said that they hoped my order would ship by the end of the month but I don’t know if they’re referring to that book or the calendar and mug that I also ordered.

The suspense is killing me with the hardback art catalogue book - I hope I got an autographed one!

Not yet, still at shipment created. Though the Scarry book got here without any notice too, so 🤷
