I was able to get the Scarry book into the “box set” size sleeve from Sleeve City (just barely). There’s just a few cm exposed at the top, but at least it keeps the book closed.

How satisfying is it? It is glorious

I have 1.5 copies of this. Only LP 2 is worth playing because of a shitty defective LP 1

If anyone ever comes across a listing for LP 1 of the special In Rainbows in decent shape, let me know so I can make a second compete set. Or if you find one and want my .5 let me know.

When I got my Humminguru I thought I’d see if I got any improvement from my shitty LP1 and I was amazed. All the noise had gone. No pops or cracks. I tell you, it was a bonafide miracle.

Then I realised that I was playing my good copy.

Weird. I have a copy with a bad Side B that I got for cheap on here. I've been on the lookout for a LP1 as well.
 
Some hot garbage here…the team can’t replicate the same issues? Everyone knows there is distortion

The test pressing underwent vigorous checks and approvals throughout all stages of the production process and the same team cannot replicate the issue you have logged with us. As you know the “Scarry” book was a limited edition run and sold out so unfortunately we have no full replacements to offer.

However we fully acknowledge that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and on that basis we will happily cover all shipping costs for you to send the complete boxset back to us for a full refund.

Please let us know if you would like to go forward with this option.

On how to disappear completely? That’s a huge change of tack from the message that I got from them in January! Not good! That’s got me nervous…

Edit: Damnit! Same e-mail just received. What are your plans?
