Hi,

I have tried and tried to live with the inner groove distortion on my red Kid A Mnesia vinyl that occurs during How to Completely Disappear. I can no longer do it, and my local shop has no replacement copies. Are you able to send me a new Kid A disc to replace the one that came in my original purchase?
 
So some loons have decided that part of the In Rainbows diskbox were pressed at MPO as opposed to Record Industry. They seem to suggest these are the better sounding presses.

I’ll have a look at mine….

… I have the Record Industry one, it’s still amongst the top two or three pressings I own.

I have the MPO version and it's noisy AF. Makes me want to try my luck on another copy but don't want to drop 200 on one.

Edit: just looked, it's a Record Industry pressing that is noisy, not MPO.

So yesterday i went out and bought the standard XL 2 LP 12" UK copy of Kid A from the 21/22 repress. The same release I could have bought five years ago before I went down every hole trying to find a good copy of this damn album. I figured what the fuck why not, even though every cogs review cites noise and all sorts of issues, Treefingers pops etc. Especially with the recent repress.

You guys it's perfect. Like PERFECT perfect. It sounds great, huge stage. I'm sure the OG beats it but it's better than the Capitol 10" I have and also the shitty effed up OG I bought that was supposed to be "spectacular".
I could have done this five years ago.
I COULD HAVE DONE THIS FIVE YEARS AGO
