Oh, I'm comparing for sure. That's why the Linton's are a "soft sale" and in the other room for now. My concern was the bass, some of the reviews said they didn't dig deep enough, but that's on each person, and that they could sound bright. 1st album in and they go plenty deep and I'm not getting any harshness so far. We'll give them some time in there current set up and see how it goes. 1st impression, very positive

You are missing a lot of microdetail and air in the transients by not having $6000 cedar cable risers. Can't believe you'd allow your speaker cables to touch the floor like that.
