@duke86fan if you’re still considering a turntable upgrade, this might be your opportunity.

its in Tokyo with me...but if you were here I'd give you a screaming deal and the included cart is unused....

have to say the le son SL1 may be talking to me but $500 just seems pricey...I can do an AT OC9XSH for basically the same price here - I really struggle spending more that that on carts as they just get fussy and delicate and my ability to deal is limited...thoughts???

ive actually never seen a Hana here...im not sure what their Japanese distribution is and if its an export only brand

I don’t think Hana is sold in Japan. I feel like I read that somewhere, that Excel just makes them for export.
