18/1 at the bookies and that’s them being tight. I can’t see this England team scoring 3 goals in any game.
0-0/1-1 and Germany to win 6-5 on penalties.
If England do go through it’s likely Sweden and in yet another England at tournaments stereotype I’d go 1-0 England in the worst game of football any of us will remember.

That German back line is just so easy to turn around I cant see us not scoring....unless Southgate.

Who is going to put the ball in the net though. 2 goals from an out of sorts Sterling in 3 games is all they’ve managed so far and none of the usual suspects look even remotely capable of scoring.
Also Southgate isn’t going to rip off the shackles. It’ll be play it tight and keep a clean sheet again.

I can see it being high scoring for Germany, I can see it being high scoring for England, I can also see it being a dull low scoring affair.
I do think there’s a better chance of it being high scoring for England because of Germany’s defensive frailties. England’s decent defense vs. Germany’s lackluster offense might prevent anything for Germany. Like today’s match where Germany only scored off a mistake and a deflected shot. If England packs the box Germany will look aimless in possession.

I really needed Italy not to concede! I managed to avoid fantasy football for the past 8 years or so, and you guys pulled me back in… now I remember why I quit in the first place! I get so irrationally upset about my team’s poor performance.I left so many points on the bench not paying attention
(On a related note, that is why I don’t gamble!)

I also get upset when my team doesn’t perform even though I have no money involved. Gambling in sports is awful and would ruin sports for me if I ever did that
