Time for a good, well bad, old football joke.
Four men are stranded at sea in a boat when one dies. The other three are reaching starvation and decide that they have no option but to eat the dead man. The decide that they should decide what they get depending on their team.
The first man says “I support Hearts, so I’ll eat the heart”
The second man says “I support Liverpool, so I’ll eat the liver”
The third man says “I support Arsenal and you know what lads, I don’t think I’m all that hungry after all”

Well I didn’t expect a 3 goal lead from Palace but when I was looking at their past fixtures from this season, they’ve played well against the top clubs. That’s why I thought they’d draw.

I think it’s a good appointment but I worry he won’t be able to do anything until the Glazers are gone.
That’s my worry but at least his reputation is earned from actually managing a team that’s done decently and not from being a director of football at a fizzy drinks company corporate team.
Personally I would have picked Poch over him. I worry that he’s not a manager, but rather a coach, and that subsequently he needs a level of structure around him that we don’t have. I also worry that he lacks top level experience outside a very weak league. He will need time and it’s very difficult to know whether he will get it. This is the first I’m hearing of it, just been driving home and literally pulled up outside my apartment, but if he’s the permanent manager I will get fully behind him and support the team, that’s what supporters do.
