It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

I really don’t understand the point of Brighton at all. Sterile football with no goals played in a horrible plastic bowl outside of town named after a type of credit card that no one in Britain has.
I was a big Potter fan but now I don’t know. Brighton are probably his level.

Meh. He leaves me cold. That type of football without a cutting edge is just so unbelievably boring to me.

As painful as it is to admit the team that play the best football, for my preferences, aren’t at the Etihad. I, as much as I HATE to admit it, prefer the Klopp heavy metal football.

I don't know if Hamburger SV rings too many bells here but the fact that Son played five entire seasons for the club (before moving on to Leverkusen and Tottenham) is hard to believe.

Big in the 80s and Keegan played there. I think Forest beat them in one of their two European Cup wins. That’s about the extent of my knowledge!

As far as I can remember they won the European Cup in 1983 against Juventus and that was the final title. From there on it all went downhill.

If you want to see the model decline of a club, just google their performance within the last ~10 years. Hence my disbelief regarding their signing of Son.

I know of Hamburg SV! He even played with Rafael Van Der Vaart there too!

I also have a Leverkusen kit with Son’s name on it, he’s probably my overall favorite player at the moment. He’s just incredible.
