It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

Closest to me is Toronto (9-hour drive, plus the inconvenience of crossing an international border) or Kansas City (12-hour drive, 800 miles!). The Midwest got screwed.
Covid restrictions into Canada via viehicle crossing ended yesterday, Fyi. (Still in effect for Intl travelers via air) But that's a long road trip.

Giggs news is no bueno! :(

Arsenal getting Fabio Vieira for so cheap is cool! I think he will be really good down the road.

Now if we could just land one of the rumored big names I will be estatic!

The whole idea of driving to a match is mind boggling to me. I’ve only ever walked or got public transport 😂
I haven't had a car in 10+ years - luckily I can get to Chase Center (Warriors) and Oracle Park (SF Giants) easily on public transport. Levi's Stadium for the Niners (and World Cup matches) is a bit trickier but I've found a 'party bus' option from my neighborhood that's around $40 roundtrip.

Party Bus 😂

Also I miss the days of Fergie when we’d announce deals the press knew nothing about in June and then the summer was done and the new players were ready and rested for the pre season tour.

Le sigh!
