United and Liverpool are the two historically successful teams that carry an air of having an expectation of winning. I think whenever one of those is dominating they’re the most hated club. In terms of teams Leeds and Chelsea have had some stinkers but neither is particularly hateful right now.
 
Watched the Man City game yesterday. The US broadcast added ambient crowd noise. I kind of liked it. Made it seem like I was watching a regular game and it wasn't distracting at all.

It was better than I thought it would be but I still didn’t like it, didn’t sound natural, I switched channels to the stadium sound...

I hated the Bundesliga usage of the audio but after a few games I was loving it. They sourced real live games for noises and whoever was in control or adding whistling or booing with poor calls or fouls made it feel very realistic. For the PL think the crowd noise is taken from FIFA which seems kinda dumb. I think FIFA sources their sound from real live games but I can't imagine it's very difficult to take real live crowd noise from older PL games instead of wherever FIFA is taking them from.

I think that’s called keeping your sponsors, who have had zero exposure that they’d paid for over the last 3 months, happy.

I think they could have sourced the noise from older PL games instead of a video game. I'm half expecting to hear Martin Tyler say something at some point.

The premier league is a capitalists wet dream, it’s all about the £££££££££. EA Sports is a major sponsor/partner. Also I have no preference in what fakery they present, I’m on channel 402 with none...

Also, he is commentating on at least one game a day, that sky has, that I am watching 😂
