It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

If United bring in Kane, then maybe, maybe. But City still have Haaland, and I’m sure they’ll recruit well to strengthen since they’ve got a few players (Laporte, Cancelo, Bernardo, Gundogan) who are on their way out and need replacing

It’s all good. We’re a few players off still. I’d also ideally like a younger back up for Casemiro, another running midfielder that’s better than McT a right back and maybe a better third choice defender. But, striker is a the really big need in our team.

You never turn down a title charge and if you’re in it it’s got to be to win it but right now we have a good manager and are seeing palpable improvements. I’d like to see him given the time to make it his team and squad and see where that takes us.

I'm unfortunately grown numb to Gabriel giving away stupid effing penalties. When it happened I was like oh, we get another one of those today. Great

They're still wobbly. Gonna be a long 6 minutes

That was all Partey though. Dumb flick in the wrong area of the pitch and then very poor straight after it too. Still ahead though so not the worst. I get that you’re all exciting and fast and it’s served you well but could do with slowing down and taking the heat of the game sometimes when something mad happens out of the blue like that penalty.

That’s killed the game. One of those. So close in that traditionally never a penalty in English football but was on the continent. Seems we’ve moved more towards their approach. So the ref is probably right but to me having watching English football for nearly 30 odd years it feels harsh.

Spoke too soon!

That is a shocker of a penalty. Missed the target by a long way!

In all seriousness if we don't turn this around and fix this mess I will be beyond disappointed not only because we threw it away but because we get to see this Nauseating rerun of the oil team winning at all

Think it is between Newcastle, Spurs (lol), and Aston Villa for that 4th spot. An unthinkable sentence a couple of years ago. Brighton have two games in hand so maybe, maybe they charge back into it.

You taunted Klopp and look what happened. Seriously, don't screw this up. I can't stomach another City title.
