January 2021 Challenge Thread - It's All One Song! And One Raffle!

“Dulcinea” is apparently a character in Don Quixote and not a flower.

Don Quixote sees a peasant girl named Aldonza, who is quite sturdy and plain-looking according to his sane companion, and imagines her name is Dulcinea and that she's an extremely beautiful, blonde member of the aristocracy. It's kinda like a 17th-century Shallow Hal.

Not only is the cover full of human/plant harmony, but the lead single is titled "Ocotillo," which is a species of desert plant common in the American southwest.

r.e.m. - around the sun

uh, suffice it to say pickens were slim for this theme. ‘houseplants like being around the sun’ is pretty much the best i could come up with. not sure if r.e.m.’s worst record would make houseplants happy; i know this album is a chore for me to get through.
