Murder by Death/Twin Limb - 7 Series (Part 7)

Murder By Death has a running split-7 series where they cover other bands and those bands cover them. This was the last one they did, in late 2017 I think. I picked it up when I saw them in Colorado a few months later. It's my favourite of the bunch so far. Also pictured is the box where I keep the others I have.

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues

I got to see Fleet Foxes last summer after wanting to see them for over ten years. I go to a lot of concerts, so I’m not sure if if I’d consider them one of the best live acts I’ve ever seen. But their music has always held a special place in my heart so it was an amazing experience. And they did put on a fantastic performance.

Day 8: No Jazz Sunday
The first time I did a challenge thread, back on the old VMP forum, I included this just to fuck with @Lee Newman. I’ve kind of become attached to it since. Play me anything but jazz!

King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard – Demos Vol. 1 + Vol. 2

Demos Vol. 2 was my first Gizz record thanks to a PIFsgiving offering from @Hemotep last year. I picked up about five more over the course of the next year, which feels like a pretty reasonable amount (as opposed to whatever UNreasonable amount of Sun Ra records I acquired during the same time period 😂) This year @Dead C offered up a copy of this double-header version, so I upgraded and found a new home for Vol. 2 with my good friend across town. I'm glad for the upgrade (thanks again C!) because I was missing some monstrously fun cuts on Vol. 1 while I was loving and listening to Vol. 2 on its own.
 
Day 9: Fuck Chad, it’s MoFi Monday
Play me something released by MoFi - I don't know who Chad is but I can still get behind this!

A very rare MoFi that is actually advertised honestly...I don't have any MoFi records, I don't need to spend that much money to feel like I'm in the studio while Steely or Dan is yelling at Michael McDonald for another take....I may change my tune when they finally make it to the 2000's and start pumping out some sad dad music but until then I'll stick with my "AAA" Dre!
