Thee Silver Mount Zion Memorial Orchestra featuring Ariel Engle – Hang On To Each Other
Sounding distinctly like absolutely nothing else in the Silver Mt. Zion catalogue, this remix 12" is the band's unabashed love letter to the dance music prevalent in their Montreal community. It is also a remix of one of the SMZ songs I love most in the entire catalogue - the original if which features a repeated refrain also used for the a-side here: "any fucking thing you love"

MF Doom "Mmm...Food" (2004 Rhymesayers Entertainment; 2018 club reissue)
I don't know if being drunk is better for listening to this, but sometimes I think it could be for the best. Plus the songs invite you for "One Beer" and "Guinesses". And munchies.
