That Charles Tolliver album is fantastic.
Dusty Groove have some interesting pre orders to make you all aware of:
Charles Tolliver : Impact (Strata East) (180 gram pressing) (LP, Vinyl record album)
One of a few large group sessions recorded by Charles Tolliver during his years on Strata East – and an amazingly spiritual effort that really brings together the best strands of sounds running through the underground at the time! The format's a bit similar to Tolliver's previous Music Inc big...www.dustygroove.com
Ambiance : Into A New Journey (LP, Vinyl record album)
A really beautiful record from the Ambiance ensemble – a group led by reedman Daoud Abubakar Balewa – a musician with the same underground prominence as Plunky Nakabinde and Idris Ackamoor during the same generation! Like both of those artists, Daoud has a way of moving effortlessly between...www.dustygroove.com
Andrew Cyrille : Ode To The Living Tree (180 gram pressing) (LP, Vinyl record album)
Pure genius from Andrew Cyrille -- a record that's got a bit more of a soaring, spiritual vibe than some of his more freely improvised work of the past -- a set that marks a key chapter in this stretch of the drummer's career, similar to his album on DIW at the same time! The group is excellent...www.dustygroove.com
John Hicks : Steadfast (180 gram pressing) (LP, Vinyl record album)
Beautiful solo work from John Hicks -- one of the few straight pianists that can hold our attention in a setting like this for so long -- a record that's maybe a bit more conventional than some of the other releases on the Strata East label from the 70s, but equally filled with a sense of spirit...www.dustygroove.com
Sorry for the lo-fi post but I took a few snaps of the RSD jazz titles that caught my eye. These are quick photos I took of the computer screen as I was scrolling through, so forgive the poor quality:
Im hopefully going to go for the Bill Evans (Resonance Records) & Miles Davis (Bitches Brew session) and MAYBE the Don Cherry (live recordings 10") & Charlie Parker (Blue Note). If it wasn't for the fact that you KNOW the price of these are going to be insane (I bet the Sun Ra will be in the triple figures) I would likely be after some of the others as well.

New KOKOROKO
Morning team. I saw that Gearbox records posted a photo of the Don Cherry release on their instagram last night so I messaged to see which stores it would be available in. They got back to say its a UK release, limited to 500 copies. I wasn't aware it was a Gearbox release, and their pressings are usually fantastic so its certainly jumped onto my wantlist!Sorry for the lo-fi post but I took a few snaps of the RSD jazz titles that caught my eye. I recently picked up their pressings of 'Dexter Gordon - Fried Banana's' and 'Dexter Gordon - Soy Califa - Live From Magleaas Højskole 1967' which are a few years old now and they are superb pressings as well. I still stand by their 'Thelonious Monk - Monk' being one of the best releases of 2018.Yeah I probably won’t be getting any RSD releases but been on a big Don Cherry kick lately, he’s great and yeah Gearbox do real good pressings. Should be good!

Also, I have just seen that Jazz Re:Freshed are releasing Richard Spaven's debut on vinyl for the first time as part of their '5ive' series. Spaven specialises in electronic jazz and has worked with Guru, Flying Lotus, Cinematic Orchestra, etc. @Skalap I know you like the Jazz Re:freshed series so this might be one for you to look out for?
Tenderlonious has just released a 4-track EP. Broken beat mixed with his signature flute.
