I really like Qobuz. There aren’t many holes to my listening, I like the way they curate, and having a system that can show off the hi-res when available has been cool.Damn, lots of great music there by the looks of it!
I love that album, too, even though I have only the subpar BN75 reissue. You got my hopes up with mentioning the classics release. I thought I'd missed something, but alas. I'm stuck with the BN75 for now. I'm hopeful they'll get around to it next year.On the Qobuz — it’s been my only for a while and I love everything about it, with one exception: sharing a link to anyone that isn’t crazy like us is met with “what’s Qobuz?”
Separately: I hadn’t spun the Ike Quebec session, Blue and Sentimental in a while and…wow. It’s such a great set with Ike, Grant Green, Philly Joe Jones, and Paul Chambers. Mine is the Music Matters, but I’m sure tha classic release is great. The sound of his horn is just killer and the whole session is really something
