Yazz Ahmed has been signed to Night Time Stories and her 2018 "La Saboteuse", 2019 "Polyhymnia" AND debut 2011 "Finding My Way Home" albums are being reissued.
The "Finding My Way Home" release is the first time its been on vinyl.
Even more impressive is the pricing. I put an order in for "Finding My Way Home" and it was £23.99 with £3.50 postage which seemed really reasonable in this day and age.
The bundle price for the 3 is crazy affordable as well at £70 and comes out at £14 per record (3 albums, 5lps).
I bought her previous albums at the time of release and they were crazy expensive (although they were limited, coloured, textured gatefolds, etc)

Weren't those press not the best ones? Packaging was great.
Yeah, they didn’t sound the best, the packaging was top shelf but the vinyl was sub par for me, hope the folks that get these new ones get a nice sounding album. I was just listening to La Saboteuse in the car yesterday!
Exactly as @kafunis said, great package sub-par vinyl. I lucked out with a decent-ish sounding copy but I know others had issues.
where was this from?Looks like the rumours are true that the Blue Note Review Volume 3 will focus on Lee Morgan with the title of “Truly Madly DeepLee Morgan”

I've lost the link now but Bill Beyea on the Blue Note facebook group, hes worked with them on various projects before. There's a "sign-up for further information" with the title as it has the image above as its background image and I guess it was taken from that.where was this from?
I love Lee Morgan recordings! Will be on the lookout.Looks like the rumours are true that the Blue Note Review Volume 3 will focus on Lee Morgan with the title of “Truly Madly DeepLee Morgan”

Im looking forward to seeing what's included. I've been trying to complete my Lee Morgan collection for a wile and only have one of the LT series to finish it off, so likely I will have at least 1 album they include here UNLESS they pull it out of the bag with some unreleased material!I love Lee Morgan recordings! Will be on the lookout.
Interesting, previously it was only available through their “Review” site. I had my copy of Vol 2 shipped over. Interesting to see if any UK suppliers will stock it.I love Lee Morgan recordings! Will be on the lookout.
Edit: Turns out that Best Buy in the US is taking pre-orders for Volume 3 at $200.
Nice! I was planning on visiting it if I had the chance. Tony was the person that put Universal in contact with me for the British jazz bits they were looking for, so will be nice to see him.Just saw this pop-up being decorated, if you’re in the CityPoint/Barbican area @Selaws might be something you’d like.

I wonder if this is incorporating/replacing the Blue Note pop up thats usually at the Coal Drops Yard?
