Day 22 - Chill out, play something relaxing

Alabaster DePlume - To Cy and Lee

Not sure I have a more relaxing album, just don't get tired of this one. Rolling into Grant Green's Sunday Mornin now, and this is one laid back morning.

Also, @MikeH posted this in the pre-order thread and IMO had a similar vibe. I think you may dig it. Give it a listen if ya get a chance...

Listening now and digging it. Not as much as DePlume, but still. Kinda perfect work background music.
Not to hijack this thread, but Alabaster released a new digital EP recently with some more tracks/b-sides from To Cy and Lee:

And here's that Bon Iver track with Visit Croatia pretty much as the backing track hah:

Proving that chill does not equal boring. This album, with it’s hushed intricate layers builds something that is at once interesting and stunningly beautiful. One of my favorite albums of the year thus far.

I finally got a chance to check this one out after your recommendation awhile ago! It's so good. How's the vinyl sound? That one is next on my list of things to buy...

Not as great as Heigh Ho which sounds incredible. My copy has a little static that is noticeable during the most quiet portions of the album overall I would say it is an average modern pressing.

Day 17 Catch Up!

LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING

One Night In Vienna ~ Schönherz & Scott

I have been through hell and back since last night. I lost power and had to take a hotel room so I am exhausted now that I am back home. That being said I am glad I started with one of my favorite surprise albums that I have gotten. A Synth masterpiece of journey touched on some elements that vaporwave would touch on later down the line. A 80s hidden gem IMO! Found this at a thrift store going off the cover alone to guide me. I am so glad I have this in my collection.
