I dig it. But it's a bit different than To Cy & Lee. To Cy & Lee sounds like music I'd hear in a european cafe (in a good way hah). Didn't realize that the new(ish) Bon Iver song heavily samples Alabaster!

I think it’s the Lo-fi sax that I find similar between the two. That and both are incredibly chill.

I finally got a chance to check this one out after your recommendation awhile ago! It's so good. How's the vinyl sound? That one is next on my list of things to buy...

Not as great as Heigh Ho which sounds incredible. My copy has a little static that is noticeable during the most quiet portions of the album overall I would say it is an average modern pressing.

Bought this used in 1985 or 86. It was the first Factory record I bought that was not Joy Division or New Order. Super thin 80's vinyl pressing but I loved this album the moment I first dropped the needle on it.

LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING
One Night In Vienna ~ Schönherz & Scott
I have been through hell and back since last night. I lost power and had to take a hotel room so I am exhausted now that I am back home. That being said I am glad I started with one of my favorite surprise albums that I have gotten. A Synth masterpiece of journey touched on some elements that vaporwave would touch on later down the line. A 80s hidden gem IMO! Found this at a thrift store going off the cover alone to guide me. I am so glad I have this in my collection.

The lyrics are the best parts of CHVRCHES music imo. From Graves, Miracle, God's Plan, My Enemy (Feat Matt of The National). It's poppy elements clash with the lyrics to paint an interesting picture in my head.
